For the past ten years, HB-OSC’s aim has been to make a lasting, positive impact on people’s overall health and well-being. Our vision is to provide people with a trusted brand of unique, healthy food offerings located in high-traffic, urban centers across the country.

OUR FOOD
Our food is plant-based: 100% gluten-free, dairy-free, and made with primarily raw and organic ingredients. We offer juices, smoothies, salads, soups, warm grain bowls, pies, and more! While HeartBeet’s offerings are 100% plant-based, mostly raw/organic, and are free of all animal products, the convenience and speed of service have attracted a wide clientele in the Seattle market, reaching far beyond the vegan community.

SELF-MANAGED
TEAMS
At HeartBeet, we've been working to implement a self-managed team approach to managing work activities - one that does not rely on a supervisor or manager to make all the decisions. Self-managed work groups differs from traditional, hierarchical work groups by allowing team members to contribute their talents, skills, abilities, ideas, and experiences more fully to the group and to the company. In the current model that occurs in most company, members often do not have the opportunity to express themselves because management usually makes the decisions. At HeartBeet, we value and encourage the creativity of individual team members and encourage participation on business management from everyone.
